We had such a wonderful experience at Make & Mark and I felt I had to leave a review.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, friendly and welcoming. We were dining with my daughter Maryclare, who has special needs, and the kindness and patience shown to her meant so much to us as a family. It’s not something you forget.
The food was absolutely delicious and the whole atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed and welcoming. Nothing was a problem and the staff genuinely made us feel looked after. It’s rare to come away from a restaurant and not be able to say a single negative thing, but that’s honestly how we felt. A fantastic meal and truly lovely people.
We will definitely be back again. Highly recommend!

Can't tell you how much I love this place when ever I'm in Laois..family time 9 of us service was great food was Fab & dessert was delicious as always got my favourite.. 😋 100%
Stumbled upon this little gem for lunch mid road trip. Couldn’t fault anything. 2 adults and 2 kids. Considering stopping again for dinner on the return journey later today 😀.
Went there for lunch witb my daughter for a bit of a catch up. Made a reservation the day before. My daughter had been there before but I hadn't.
The food was excellent, the setvice just as good. Very friendly and helpful staff and a nice atmosphere.

I had the pasta carbonate it was delicious. Huge menu to choose from. Staff are always friendly. Toilets were spotless.
It’s always busy here and usually requires a reservation. When we rang today, the lady on the phone said they were fully booked, but suggested we could drop in and might get lucky.
We did … and we did.
We ordered two roast dinners … a duo of beef and turkey, served with carrots, cabbage, mash, proper roast root potatoes (not deep-fried spuds), samphire, and quite honestly some of the nicest gravy I’ve had in a long time.
The food was excellent, the service was fast, and the staff were great as always.
Consistently good food, well run, and worth the effort to get a table.
We’ll definitely be back again.
